Create a Market (Proposer)
Anyone can propose and create their own AMM or DirectBet market. AMM market creators also earn a share of the trading fees as income.

Steps
Propose a market topic
Go to thaipoll.io/create, choose the market type (AMM or DirectBet), then fill in:
- The market question (clear and measurable)
- The YES/NO outcome labels (customizable, e.g. “Trump” / “Biden”)
- Category + close time
- Resolution rules + reference source (very important — see below)
- A banner image (optional)
- Initial liquidity
Provide initial liquidity
- 🟣 AMM: minimum 1,000 USDC (split 50/50 → price starts at 0.50)
- 🔵 DirectBet: minimum 100 USDC (the stake on the side you choose)
Wait for admin review and approval
The platform admin reviews the topic (against spam / inappropriate content / ambiguous questions) and approves it. Check the status at thaipoll.io/create/submissions.
Launch the market
Once approved, the market is launched on-chain and opens for trading.
What creators earn

After an AMM market resolves, the creator can also withdraw the remaining liquidity (idle reserves) from the Portfolio page.
Creator’s responsibility: write clear resolution rules + attach a credible reference source. Ambiguous questions are hard to resolve and may be cancelled. A good market = a question with an indisputable “yes/no” answer.
Tips for a market people want to trade
- A decidable question — there’s a “source of truth” everyone accepts (official results, major news outlets).
- An appropriate close time — close trading before the event’s outcome becomes known.
- Enough liquidity (AMM) — higher liquidity = a steadier price, so people are comfortable trading larger amounts.
- Add an image + description — markets that look good and have complete rules attract more traders.
FAQ
Q: If my proposal isn’t approved, do I lose money? A: No — liquidity is only put in once the market is actually launched.
Q: Can I cancel after creating a market? A: Before launch, you can cancel the proposal on the submissions page. For a DirectBet that nobody has matched, the creator can cancel after 72 hours from creation.
Q: Who resolves the market I created? A: The platform admin resolves it based on evidence, for neutrality (creators cannot resolve their own markets).
Fee income is not guaranteed profit, and the creator’s initial liquidity is money at risk (e.g. an AMM market may lose value from price movement / impermanent loss). Please check the laws in your jurisdiction before using the platform. See Risks & Security.
